- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the business goals of GBG
- Manage our most strategically important partnership opportunities in the region, both existing and new, and own executive level relationships.
- Identify and evaluate potential partners, including technology providers, professional service firms, and other relevant organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, sales, pre-sales and legal, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of partnership initiatives, especially and starting with existing key partnerships.
- Monitor, analyse and drive the performance of partnerships, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities and proactively present recommendations to HoS and SLT.
- Build, nurture and lead a world class team and ensure they are set up for success internally and with external stakeholders
- Experience in successfully developing and managing strategic partnerships, alliances or channel sales, ideally in B2B tech, SaaS/Software or financial services.
- Track record of driving revenue growth through partnerships.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills - to navigate complex commercial discussions to ensure the best outcome for GBG.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, to communicate strategy, project expectations and progress effectively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
