
Technology Sourcing Manager

- Lead procurement activity, manage tender, evaluation an acquisition process.
- Negotiate with potential partners and suppliers, developing acceptance criteria and procedures.
- Develop strategies to address underperformance and compliance failures, including the application of contract terms.
- Negotiate variations and seek appropriate authorisation.
- Manage suppliers to meet key performance indicators and agreed targets.
- Ensure potential disputes or conflicts are identified early, with clear escalation paths for resolution.
- Negotiate contracts in accordance with Downer policy.
- Provide specialist advice to those accountable for governance to correct compliance issues.
- A high performing mindset with a focus on quality execution.
- You'll be a great communicator and interpreter of business needs with deep procurement experience.
- Demonstrated 5+ years' work experience in Category Management, Supply Chain, Vendor Management or Procurement, including all aspects of strategic sourcing development and execution.
- Experience of successfully conducting a range of negotiations across a variety of IT categories.
- Solid working knowledge of current IT technologies, total lifecycle cost structures and pricing mechanisms.
- Well-developed contract review and legal negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, and contractors who provide a broad spectrum of IT products and services.
- General knowledge of accounting, finance and law.
- Work with an ASX listed company; working with market leaders.
- Location can be either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane based
