
Manager, Delivery Risk (Chapter Lead)

- Build the maturity of the chapter towards best practice including improving our service offering and ways of working, working closely with our Chapter Implementation Manager.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Risk Advisors and Consultants.
- Drive capability building, coaching, mentoring, professional growth and performance.
- Embed frameworks and standards across delivery teams and provide feedback to further enhance delivery risk practices.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews, ensure methodology compliance, and share best practices.
- Bring innovation, AI, and future-focused approaches to enhance delivery risk practices.
- Align ways of working across Chapters and Tribes, sharing knowledge and solving challenges.
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to strengthen risk capability and practices.
- Manage resourcing and capacity, ensuring the right talent is allocated to meet business needs.
- 5+ years as a risk professional with expert-level proficiency in risk management principles and practices.
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage risks within complex delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks within insurance or financial services sectors.
- Previous experience acting as a trusted risk advisor or business partner is highly regarded.
- Deep experience managing delivery risks in and agile environment across the entire project lifecycle.
- Skilled at partnering with delivery teams to navigate risk requirements while maintaining operational agility.
- In-depth knowledge of delivery risk best practices and the ability to bring market insights, innovation, and future-focused thinking, including AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience, including developing team capability and managing resource requirements.
- Exceptional ability to build, influence, and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
