Oversee and integrate the teams’ diverse and professional skills to deliver the Default Market Offer (DMO) each year as well as policy and regulatory initiatives that support energy consumers being better off now and in the future.
Advise the Board and Senior Executive Team by acting as a source of expertise and leadership on retail pricing, policy and regulation.
Represent the AER and DMO and Consumers Branch to influence and convince internal and external stakeholders about specific and set objectives.
Ensure high quality documentation, and effective reporting and communication with the EGM, Senior Leadership Team, CEO and Board on relevant projects and organisational wide activities.
About youIn order to succeed in the role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience leading a team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred organisation.
Substantial knowledge and demonstrated experience across policy and regulatory change, stakeholder engagement and data interpretation and management.
Expert knowledge of Australian energy markets; the role, purpose and objectives of the AER and the complex political and stakeholder environment within which the AER operates.
Tertiary qualifications in relevant field(s) or a relevant field.
