About the Role…Sydney Showground is now recruiting qualified and creative Chefs to join our casual BOH team for corporate and large scale functions & events including the Sydney Royal Easter Show.We are a dynamic and diverse place to work. Whether it’s staging Australia’s largest ticketed event, the Sydney Royal Easter Show, hosting major events and exhibitions at Sydney Showground, or running RAS Foundation or Education programs that support and develop agriculture in Australia. A proven history of being punctual & reliable
Have superior customer service skills
Have an ability to make great connections
Be energetic and committed
Have an outstanding work ethic and impeccable grooming
Practice good kitchen hygiene standards in line with the Food Safety Plan
Be able to work weekdays, weekends and late nights (according to a 7-day rotating event-based roster)
Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia.
