Key Responsibilities
- Lead product development including design, costing, sampling, packaging, and testing.
- Manage the critical path from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Direct range strategy and positioning to ensure competitiveness in the Australian and Pacific markets.
- Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and identify new market opportunities.
- Collaborate with global teams to leverage international product input and timing advantages.
- Oversee QA systems, vendor compliance, and ESG initiatives.
- Manage fit approvals, tooling, and componentry to meet delivery schedules.
- Support sales channels with product knowledge, training, and seasonal collateral.
- Proven experience in senior product management, buying or sourcing roles—ideally within footwear.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Technical expertise in footwear design, engineering, and fit.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
- High level of commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience is highly regarded.
