  • Part timers covering planned and unplanned leave - fortnight hours totalling 39 hours.
Note:This role is based in Sandringham and will require staff to move across sites. You may need o be trained and come to Kingston, CLayton or Dandenong in the future.Our Health Records Clerks are responsible for many roles, and its not limited to release of information, prepping, scanning, collection and record management across multiple sites.ResponsibilitiesAs a part of large team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Collection of notes from the wards
  • Prepping of documents for scanning within departmental KPI's for inpatient, outpatients, mental health and community services.
  • Scanning the paper medical record into an electronic format using the Kodak and Infomedix software systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Accurate entry of information into a variety of systems including iPM and SMR
  • Handling of incoming telephone calls and written requests from internal and external parties
  • Tracking the location of all medical records that pass through the department, and those known to be located in other departments of the hospital.
  • Facilitate the timely, efficient and confidential transfer of medical records or health information to other departments and sites within Monash Health
About YouYou are highly organised, with great attention to detail, and you enjoy the variety that comes from a fast-paced clerical role where priorities can and do change. Multi-tasking comes naturally to you and in addition, you have well developed IT, written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in a Scanning Centre is preferred but not essential.You will be adaptable to changes and is flexible in covering other staff and roles across all Scanning Centre sites.You will be need to be reliable, trustworthy and be open to verbal and written feedback as you will be working independently at different sites.Employee benefits include:
