People Central Advisor

As a People Central Advisor, you’ll deliver timely, people-focused HR support to staff and managers across a wide range of operational and advisory areas. You'll work across the employee lifecycle and contribute to core HR processes, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support across onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, and leave
- Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements (EBAs) and HR policies
- Support performance, remuneration and talent review cycles
- Handle classification, secondments, allowances, and relocation requests
- Assist with HR-related documentation, reporting, and correspondence
- Deliver and support induction and internal training programs
- Coach and support stakeholders in using HR systems and tools
- Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement projects
- Participate in cyclical activities and support organisational initiatives
- Proven experience interpreting and working with Enterprise Agreements (EBAs)
- Ability to identify, escalate and analyse complex HR issues and assess their organisational impact
- Experience in unionised environments would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of employment legislation, awards, and public sector frameworks
- A customer-focused mindset and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in HR advisory or coordination roles
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
