Alfabs Engineering and Services is the flagship business unit of the Alfabs Group.Our teams are well versed in servicing a wide range of industry sectors, including but not limited to, Infrastructure (Rail, Road and Water), Construction, Mining and Energy.We provide genuine flexibility, development opportunities and a culture of collaboration and comradery as we strongly believe People make Alfabs!As we continue to secure projects across NSW, Alfabs enters a growth phase where we are seeking trade qualified and experienced Painter/Blasters to join our Site Services division.We are offering both Permanent and Casual roles at our Sydney and Newcastle locations.Reporting to our Site Superintendent (Paint) you will have the opportunity to be part of a true crew, working together to set industry standards.Skills & Experience:

Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in surface preparation and painting.
Perform abrasive blasting (grit/sand blasting) to clean and prepare metal surfaces in accordance with industry standards.
Apply industrial coatings, primers, and protective paints using airless, conventional spray equipment, brush, and roller
Read and interpret job specifications and coating system requirements.
Ensure surface preparation and coating applications meet quality assurance and safety standards
Strong team player, proactive and reliable
Exceptional work ethic and Self- Motivated
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work overtime to assist with achieving company goals
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement
Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
