
Senior Business Analyst - Commercial Insurance

- Min 4 years' as a Senior BA, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement essential
- Commercial insurance experience essential, Risk Management/Regulatory Compliance preferred
- Work closely with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to run workshops; identify, capture, plan, document and deliver business requirements
- Create detailed user stories to support delivery.
- Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to validate business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
- Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
- Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.
- Minimum 4 years' senior business analysis experience within Risk and/or Compliance from a large organisation; experience in Business Continuity, Critical Operations, Supplier Management, Control Automation or Privacy from a risk standpoint would be highly regarded
- Lead or supported commercial insurance initiatives on a transformational or incremental basis
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders involved in supplier management across Suncorp Group
- Requirements Gathering: Proficiency in eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements related to supplier management processes including ongoing performance and compliance with APRA CPS230.
- Process Mapping: Skill in mapping current and future state business processes involved in supplier management to support any organisational change, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- Change Management awareness: Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies to support the Change Manager to effectively plan and implement organisational changes related to supplier management.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data related to supplier performance, compliance, and risk to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas and requirements to diverse stakeholders and facilitate effective collaboration.
