Sales Consultant – New Business Development
$85K–95K Base + Commission | OTE $150K–160K

Our client, a well-established tech company, is seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant to join their team and drive new business across Australia and beyond. In this outbound-focused B2B sales role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities, supported by warm leads generated through marketing efforts and trade show exposure.What You'll Be Doing
  • Prospect, qualify and engage new leads via outbound calls, emails & inbound inquiries
  • Own the sales cycle from discovery through to close
  • Run compelling online demos and occasional in-person presentations
  • Attend trade shows to build pipeline and brand presence
  • Manage your pipeline in HubSpot and maintain accurate records
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close sales and achieve targets.
  • Collaborate closely with onboarding teams to ensure seamless handover
  • Share client feedback with marketing & product to help shape the customer experience
The Ideal candidate
  • 2–3+ years in B2B sales
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven and highly organised
  • A passion for the automotive industry is a big plus
  • Comfortable running demos and using tools like Zoom, HubSpot, RingCentral
  • Ability to understand business pain points and propose tailored solutions
  • Confident negotiating with decision-makers and closing deals
