Looking for SRE Lead Engineer minimum 8 years of relevant ExperienceLocation: Melbourne, AustraliaSalary range: AUD 108,571- 119,893(Annual Gross)
Please Note: The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processesRoles and Responsibilities:

Primary Focus - Ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities

Defining SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs for reliability.
Monitoring system performance and reducing toil.
Capacity planning scaling.
Automating reliability improvements.
Main Goal - Ensure production systems are reliable, performant, and scalable.
Tools & Technologies - New Relic, SRE principles, SLIs/SLOs, incident management, Problem Management, Change Management, chaos engineering, Azure SME
Approach - Focuses on reducing downtime, preventing failures, and maintaining system stability.
Common Backgrounds - Software Engineering, DevOps, Operations, Cloud Engineering.

Skills /Competencies: * Essential:

Good knowledge of technology landscape to be able to guide team.
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
Preferred:

Strong Azure cloud background with IAC skill
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly motivated self-driven with a positive attitude.

Additional Skills: * Excellent customer facing skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
