The ideal candidate will lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the lead engineer, candidate to complete electrical engineering calculations and design review for upgrade of existing conveyor system.Candidate Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Australian accredited 4-year engineering degree.
- 5-10 years of BHP WAIO or similar industry experience in LV & HV systems up to 33kV
- Experience with HV and LV switch room systems and distribution transformers
- Experience on reviewing mechanical packages
- Familiarity with Australian Standards, studies including developing MTOs/Lists
- Familiar with earthing (step -touch) and lightning system design
- Able to work autonomously and communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
- Able to prepare / review load flow, short circuit and harmonic studies
- Experience in software design tools such as Digsilent Power Factory, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, is desirable.
