An AO4 Administered Revenue Officer (Level 2) vacancy is available in the Finance Division of the Queensland Revenue Office. This role will be based in the Brisbane CBD.In this role you will work in a collaborative team environment to deliver operational financial services. Access theYour typical day as an Administered Revenue Officer Level 2 may include:
  • Providing daily quality assurance of reconciliations and team outputs in preparation for end of month activities and audit requests.
  • Perform bi-daily monitoring of internal controls over the financial data.
  • Extracting and analysing financial data to: create reports, identify business improvements for efficiencies and make evidence based recommendations.
  • Oversee all financial transactions in the general ledger and on client accounts including allocation of payments and refunds to clients.
  • Supporting the team with complex escalations.
You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
  • Client accounting and general ledger experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft office products such as Excel.
  • Knowledge of, and applied experience in analysing and interpreting financial data.
