We are on the hunt for experienced Assemblers / Production Assistants / Factory Hands to join our client, an iconic Australian Doors and windows manufacturing business in Springvale. These positions will be on a full-time ongoing casual basis and include assembly and production of doors.Working in a team, your other responsibilities will include:

Processing materials and assembling components to required specifications and quality standards using a variety of hand tools, power tools and machinery.
Operating and cleaning production machinery/equipment after use
Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operating Manuals in an efficient manner
Supporting team members to ensure production goals and deadlines are achieved
Contributing to our culture of continuous improvement and safety

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to demonstrate:

Mechanical aptitude and an ability to read basic assembly diagrams and cutting sheets, with strong attention to detail ensuring correct assembly, positions, and orientation.
Current Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
Previous experience working with hand and power tools in a similar role, or trades-assistant role operating production machinery will be advantageous.
CNC or Metalwork experience will be looked upon favourably.
Experience manufacturing doors, windows, or other trade qualified experience advantageous
