As an Electrical Drafter, you’ll work as part of a skilled team delivering detailed electrical documentation for building services projects across a wide range of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education and more.Revit software is used on over 90% of their projects—so strong Revit capability is essential.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate detailed electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and models using Revit
- Collaborate closely with engineers and other discipline drafters to ensure accuracy and integration across services
- Contribute to the setup and maintenance of Revit models, drawing sheets, and standard templates
- Implement NDY’s drafting and modelling standards to ensure consistency across projects
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and other consultants as needed during the design process
- Support documentation for all stages of project delivery (concept to construction)
- 4+ years’ experience in electrical drafting for building services
- Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP – essential
- Strong understanding of electrical systems within building design (e.g. lighting, power, comms, security)
- Experience with AutoCAD (desirable)
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation quality
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Relevant qualifications in drafting, engineering, or design technology
