Job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in Property to join a well-established and highly regarded property developer with an impressive track record of delivering large-scale developments and an active pipeline ahead. This is a rare opportunity to become the trusted Accountant to both the business and its high-net-worth founder, taking full ownership of the finance function.This isn't a role in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment - instead, it's about stepping into a stable, secure position where your expertise will be relied upon for the long term. With a boutique, high-trust culture, you'll work directly with the founder and enjoy a role that balances autonomy, variety, and prestige.The role:

End-to-end accounting across multiple entities, trusts, and investments using Xero
AP/AR, reconciliations, journals, and month-end processing
Payroll and superannuation compliance
BAS & IAS preparation and lodgement (with external accountant)
Management reporting: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and budgets
Cash flow forecasting and monitoring
Overseeing investment reporting, personal finance admin and private property costs
Acting as the trusted financial right-hand to the MD with complete independence

What You Bring

Solid accounting experience in property (development, real estate, construction, or investments)
5+ years in an all-round, hands-on accounting role
Strong Xero skills and ability to manage multiple entities
Excellent reconciliation, compliance and reporting abilities
Self-sufficient, detail-driven, and discreet
Professional communicator who can work closely with a HNW founder
CPA not required - proven experience, reliability, and independence are key
