As the Production Support Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operational processes by coordinating administrative tasks, liaising with key stakeholders, and supporting production planning. You will have the full support of an Operations team of 6, while also working closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to optimise efficiency and service delivery.This casual position is available for an immediate start with the opportunity to work up to 5 shifts per week with no end date currently.Key Responsibilities:
Raise purchase orders (POs) in coordination with Supply Chain and Plant Management
Maintain accurate operational downtime data and ensure proper documentation
Assist in stock planning, inventory control, and tracking stock levels to meet demand
Monitor stock on hand coverage, ensuring enough stock is on hand to meet current and future orders
Coordinate transport and stock transfers, ensuring compliance with logistics procedures
Arrange and coordinate external maintenance and contractor services
Provide recommendations for improving safety, quality, and productivity
About You:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Purchase order experience
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and SAP (ERP system)
Knowledge of transport bookings, vehicle loading, inventory and stock management
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Driver licence
Unrestricted working rights in Australia
