- Prepare and issue short-term (daily/weekly) production schedules for blending and packaging.
- Sequence production runs to optimize the line efficiency, minimize changeovers, and ensure compliance with customer delivery requirements including adjustment in response to urgent orders, supply disruptions, or equipment downtime etc.,
- Review JDE / Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure base oils, additives, and packaging materials viz., bottles, cartons, labels are available for scheduled production.
- Manage and execute raw material call-offs in alignment with the production plan, ensuring on-time availability and avoiding stockouts or excess inventory.
- Work closely with supply chain planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to resolve material shortages including aligning the production plans with available manpower and equipment capacity.
- Monitor production schedule adherence and escalate risks to the planning team or customer deliveries.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records in the systems including tracking key scheduling KPIs (schedule adherence, service levels, downtime impact).
- Provide daily/weekly updates to operations and supply chain management and participate in cross-functional meetings to improve production planning processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce excess inventory, improve schedule accuracy, and increase service levels.
- Support initiatives to streamline scheduling tools, models, and practices.
- Participate in site stock take activities
- A minimum of 5+years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or supply chain coordination (preferably in lubricants, chemicals, or FMCG).
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards) for production scheduling.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles (materials planning, inventory control, lead times).
- Ability to analyze data (Excel/Power BI) and translate into actionable production plans.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to resolve scheduling conflicts and production challenges with effective problem-solving.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Balanced, independent, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- A highly motivated and self-starting individual who is driven by results delivery in a fast-changing environment including adaptability and resilience under pressure.
- The ability to be computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Hands on team player with high energy and enthusiasm for continuous process improvements and the ability to motivate others.
- A background in lubricant (desired) or automotive related activities or FMCG is a plus.
- Good understanding of production processes in lubricants (batch sequencing, blending, filling, packaging).
