- Act as the Client Engagement "right hand" to our Australia/Asia Regional Leadership Team
- Serve as a professional internal coach and expert in winning work, providing Hatch Business Units with knowledge, coaching and advice on developing client relationships
- Leverage the toolset developed by the Client Action Team to support you in delivering specific job functions:
- Facilitate company-wide sales training programs
- Guide Account Managers on account plan development and implementation
- Serve as a business partner to Business Unit leadership, as they review their sales pipeline and identify key pursuits for your deeper involvement.
- Engage these pursuit teams and identify where they need help: client engagement planning and pre-positioning, win strategy coaching and helping them develop detailed pursuit plans
- Ensure good handover of win strategy materials to proposal team and provide continuity across the Executive Summary as a persuasive messaging architect, ensuring all client hot buttons are addressed
- Work with teams to provide presentation skills coaching and facilitate interview preparation sessions for specific client interviews/presentations
- “Act like an owner” in your role - measure results and identify areas for improvement
- Answer basic questions on other areas the Client Action Team supports - CRM, pursuit governance, etc.
- Be a constant Client Action Team presence in the areas of the business you support
- Bachelor's degree or post-grad in Business, Marketing or Engineering
- Minimum 15 years' experience in an Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Commercial, Engineering, Pursuit or Project Manager or equivalent role, demonstrating increasing responsibilities over time
- An innate passion for winning
- Minimum 5 years' experience pursuing new business, specific experience in $10 Million (+) pursuits
- Experience in one of Hatch's core industries required (i.e. Metals, Energy, Infrastructure)
- Strong business acumen combined with high Emotional Intelligence
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence from the side
- Experience working directly with client contacts in a previous role is a plus
