- To maintain engagement with community and stakeholders Health Service Capacity Building.
- Provide cultural support and advice in development and implementation of the Reconciliation Action Plan to ensure alignment with community expectations and needs.
- Establish a representative Reconciliation Reference Group to oversee the development and implementation of the Reconciliation Action Plan; and
- Provide cross- Council mentoring and advice to build staff capacity to embed cultural inclusion and deliver culturally appropriate services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred in community development or related field, however, highly experienced candidates without this qualification will be considered.
- Possess the ability to deal with a range of stakeholders and are committed to achieving quality outcomes; and
- Will have an understanding of Aboriginal Health organisations and the issues, current trends and a range of possible strategies associated with delivery of high quality public sector services.
