- The provision of AOG support that delivers maintenance and trouble-shooting advice to the customer
- The provision of continuous training to maintenance to personnel when requested
- The provision of away base assistance to facilitate the maintenance and repair of aircrafts
- The provision of assistance in resolving the aircrafts parts shortages and/or provisioning issues
- Assisting in reducing nil fault found occurrences
- Assisting in drafting technical instructions and/or procedures
- Provision of clarification for the aircraft systems and maintenance procedures within delegated authority
- Identifying and recommending alternative tooling and support equipment
- Developing, recommending and reporting on corrective actions taken to maximise aircraft system operational capability, availability, readiness, safety and longevity
- The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1 and ASIC requirements
- Extensive C27-J or equivalent flight-line troubleshooting experience, preferably within mainline operations
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Certifying staff member
- A minimum of 10 years aviation maintenance experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience on Airlift type aircraft
- Demonstrated working knowledge of DASR regulations
- Project Management qualifications
- Ability to teach and mentor
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
