
Finance Analyst (FP&A)

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- CA or CPA qualification.
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a medium to large company.
- Experience in a professional services firm is preferable but not essential.
- Proficient financial analysis, problem-solving and financial modelling skills.
- Experience in process improvement essential, and system implementation preferable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders (i.e. Senior Partners)
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders, developing and maintaining dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Technically strong with the use of financial software tools and a keen interest in exploring AI functionality. A drive to continually want to innovate and upskill in these products and discover and learn new products.
- Conduct financial analysis, modelling, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions, including investment and equity management.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports, highlighting trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Support month-end and year-end processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to business leaders, partnering closely with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to M&A evaluations, investment planning, and risk assessment activities.
- Be a key member of project teams for system implementation and process improvement within the finance function.
- Mentor junior finance staff and support team development through training and KPI tracking.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, including ESG and the Modern Slavery Act 2018.
