We are seeking a Clinical Nurse (Grade 6) to join the Mental Health Acute Care Team at Rockhampton Hospital. This role operates within a 24/7 service, covering all shifts. The successful candidate will provide high-level clinical care, demonstrate strong acute mental health expertise, and support safe, patient-focused outcomes.Requirements
- Nursing Level: CN Nurse Grade 6
- Acute Care Team experience
- Nurse on Call: No
- Driver's Licence: Yes (mandatory)
- Criminal History Check: General
- Must agree to an 8-hour shift break
- Operation Hours: 24/7, all shifts

- Mental Health Acute Care Team within Rockhampton Hospital
- Service operates 24/7 with rotating shifts
- Shared accommodation provided (on-site not always guaranteed)
- Travel expenses: $200 incl. GST each way for commencement and completion of contract (with tax receipts).
- Travel must occur within 2 days of the start and end dates. Outside this timeframe requires prior written approval.
- All travel expenses must be approved in advance by CQHHS.
- Accommodation: Shared accommodation provided (subject to availability).
- Timesheets: CQHHS does not use electronic timesheets.
