Reporting to the Head of Data, the Data Analyst is responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimisation of data pipelines that support investment analytics and reporting. The role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality data flows across the organisation, driving automation, and enabling better decision-making through timely access to critical data.This role will initially be a 6 month FTC.Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely post-trade analytics to key stakeholders
- Design, build and maintain automated data pipelines across the business
- Manage ad hoc data requests and maintain user-facing reporting tools
- Ensure data meets internal standards for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Monitor daily data processes, proactively resolving exceptions and issues
- Collaborate with teams across the organisation to support data needs and access
- Tertiary qualification in finance, data science, information systems, or a related field
- Strong understanding of post-trade investment analytics and relevant data metrics
- Experience managing data pipelines in traditional or cloud-based environments using ETL principles
- Working knowledge of the investment management lifecycle
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. SQL or Python is a distinct advantage
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
