We’re looking for a part-time or casual Catering Assistant/Catering Services Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team at UnitingSA’s aged care network.If you love working in a close-knit environment, enjoy flexible hours, and want to bring joy to others through nutritious meals, this could be the perfect role for you.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your day might include:

Collaborating with the team to plan and prepare meals
Catering to dietary needs, preferences, and cultural requirements
Supporting the Chef Manager and kitchen team with food orders and budgeting
Maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment
Serving meals with care and professionalism
Sharing ideas to improve our service and resident satisfaction

What We’re Looking ForWe’d love to hear from you if you:

Have full working rights in Australia (essential)
Hold a current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
Have experience in aged care or hospitality, or are keen to learn
Hold a Certificate II in Hospitality (or are willing to obtain one)
Communicate well and enjoy working in a team
Are passionate about providing excellent care and service
