We have a short term role for a Procurement Officer for a State Government Department

Hourly Rate:$67.20 per hour plus super (Level 5.1)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 4 to 6 weeks
Location: Perth CBD

All of our roles are temporary assignments and the hourly rates quoted include a 25% casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements.The Procurement and Contracts team manages procurement services within coordination with the Department of Housing and Works. They support Tourism WA by developing and implementing their commercial agreements.Core Responsibilities

Advise on strategic procurement, commercial contracts, compliance, contract management, and risk management.
Conduct complex analytical and research work.
Develop innovative, evidence-based policy using project management.
Build relationships and leverage networks to gain support.

Key Requirements

Significant experience in procurement and contract management services.
Extensive experience developing complex commercial agreements.
Prior experience with the WA State Government.
Accountability for decisions and actions, delivering high-quality work.
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently to negotiate and influence others.
