- Lead and manage a team of 2–4 civil designers (AutoCAD and 12D environment)
- Oversee the timely delivery of design projects across civil infrastructure
- Provide guidance and technical leadership across road, drainage, and public works design
- Support the development of junior team members
- Liaise with external consultants to ensure quality outputs
- Monitor workflow, track progress, and maintain project timelines
- 6-month contract with possible extension
- 36.25-hour work week, Monday to Friday
- Hybrid flexibility – min. 4 days in office preferred (flexibility increases over time)
- Pay rate up to $130 p/h
- Start ASAP
- Proven experience delivering complex civil design projects, ideally within a local government setting
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, 12D, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent stakeholder communication and project tracking abilities
- Full Australian working rights required
