Our client is at the forefront of maintaining critical commercial and defence aviation capabilities both nationally and internationally. The Technical Support Officer will be responsible for the management of workshop practices, maintaining workshop reporting, assisting area supervisors and ensuring training and development is maintained across the team. Candidates will be responsible for also administering submissions related to warranty and policy claims as needed.The role:
  • Undertake technical practitioner duties
  • undertaking the repair, maintenance of complex issues
  • Ensure workpacks, BOMs align with referenced technical data
  • Provide technical assistance and support
  • Maintain Technical registers
  • Technical enquiries are managed
  • Undertake as required; planned maintenance, corrective actions
  • Conduct testing and modification activities
  • Supervise other staff, including trainees and/or apprentices
Experience required:
  • CERT IV Aeroskills - Mechanical
  • Maintenance and repair experience
  • Cert IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor
  • First Aid Qualified (Desirable)
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • MUST be eligible for AGSVA Defence Security Clearance
The ideal candidate will have had some form of experience in workplace training and assessment. Candidates who are self-starters and are looking to become a leader in this field should apply.
