If you want to help us build the Quantum future, read on.About the roleWe're seeking a Senior Project Manager who can help turn big ideas into delivered results. In this role, you'll work across our global teams-connecting engineers, researchers, executives, and sponsors to make ambitious initiatives happen. From winning proposals to delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects, you'll combine the PMO discipline with people skills that inspire trust and action. If you thrive where technical innovation meets flawless execution, this is your stage.The Project Manager role will be a key, cross-functional role under the Program Management Office within the Operations team. This operationally-driven team transcends administrivia and bureaucracy to “get stuff done.” We lean on automation, data, and innovation to meet our charge of scaling ahead of our growth.What you'll be doing:

Lead Opportunity Capture & Proposal Development - Coordinate competitive responses to funding opportunities, including task assignments, documentation, partner engagement, and submission.
Drive Project Execution - Oversee milestones, deliverables, and reporting for both internally driven and externally funded initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management - Build strong working relationships with teams worldwide, translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Financial Planning & Tracking - Partner with Operations and Finance to ensure accurate budgets, forecasts, and expenditure reporting.
Risk & Issue Management - Apply PMO best practices to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Other duties within the Employee's skills and experience, or with reasonable training.

Ideally you'll have:

PMO experience in a project or program management role.
Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in engineering, research, or technology environments.
Experience managing projects in hardware R&D environments.
Strong background in responding to grants, proposals, tenders, or other external funding opportunities.
Experience in financial management for funded projects such as creating budgets, tracking procurement, and monitoring burn.
Excellent communication skills-able to translate complex technical concepts into pithy, compelling narratives for both internal and external audience and many formats (I.e. oral presentations, slides, reports)
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic priorities with operational detail.
Experience working with global, multidisciplinary teams.

It would be fantastic if you have these skills/experience but not essential:

Degree in science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
Working knowledge of the global export control environment.
PMP certification.
