- Advising on a broad range of property law matters including acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences, easements, restrictive covenants, Crown Land, and regulatory issues.
- Acting for government, private sector clients, and community housing providers on major tenders, property development, and social/affordable housing projects.
- Managing complex transactions such as multi-million-dollar purchases, land due diligence, commercial and retail leasing, and divestment of government land.
- Collaborating with the Partner and senior team members on large-scale social infrastructure and property development projects.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships across the Newcastle, Hunter Valley, and broader NSW regions.
- For senior candidates, mentoring and supervising junior team members.
- 3-7 years' post-admission experience as a property lawyer, ideally with exposure to large-scale projects or infrastructure.
- Strong technical, analytical, and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a large national team.
- Proven client management skills and a focus on delivering commercial, solutions-oriented advice.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
