Together with the FP&A team, Commercial Finance will partner with the ELT in the creation and execution of CreditorWatch’s strategy to ensure the organisation optimises the creation of shareholder value.This is a high-profile role within that team, partnering directly with the Chief Technology Officer, General Manager of Product and the Head of Data to drive strategic planning and analytical rigor across our technology organisation.Across the three business units, your core objectives will include:

Product: Driving ROI on investment prioritisation and the product roadmap
Data: Supporting the development of our data strategy and driving the financial value of our data asset.
Engineering: Overseeing the financial integrity of data flows between systems and defining requirements for financial reporting and analytics

You’ll be the strategic finance partner to our technology leadership while also rolling up your sleeves to build foundational processes. This is an opportunity for a ‘hands-on’ individual with long-term vision to make their mark in a fast-growing organisation.This role reports directly to the General Manager, FP&A and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions out of our Sydney CBD Office.Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Be a sounding board and trusted advisor to senior leadership in the product, engineering and data business units.
Champion data-driven decision making across the organisation while embedding SaaS performance metrics into how the business operates.
Coordinate different technology teams to ensure appropriate data flow across our entire tech ecosystem, including CRM, ERP, billing platforms and our CW Core system.
Analysing investment efficiency on innovation and R&D
Support leadership in regular business reviews with the Board of Directors.
Oversee comprehensive SaaS metric reporting and supporting architecture.
Support the broader FP&A team in the multi-year execution of CreditorWatch’s Strategic Plan and the Annual Operating Plan process.
Assist with corporate development / M&A activities as required.

Our ideal candidateYou'll be a commercially savvy finance leader with deep experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, and strategic planning - paired with hands-on know-how in SaaS subscription billing systems (ideally within MS Dynamics).
