Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll be part of a team that are responsible for manufacturing high quality plaster products safely.In this role you will:

Assist the Production Supervisor in overseeing day-to-day production operations.
Supervise and support the production team to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are met.
Provide hands-on leadership to production staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and policies.
Train and mentor new and existing production staff, ensuring they are equipped with the appropriate skills and knowledge.
Identify and resolve production issues, working closely with the team to improve processes.
Maintain accurate records of production output, quality, and staff training.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team input on operational processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes and manufacturing systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team.
Strong work ethic with proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
Previous experience in training and developing staff is highly desirable.
Forklift license is desirable.
