The Position:This is an incredible opportunity to work as a full time, permanent O&G Consultant/Staff Specialist at a major hospital in rural NSW.Maternity and Newborn Services are delivered by an experienced team of Midwives, General Practice Obstetricians and Specialist ObstetriciansProvide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to a community that has approximately 1000 births per year.The Facility:The 300-bed hospital is the biggest healthcare facility in NSW outside the Sydney-Wollongong-Newcastle metropolis.The hospital provides specialist services to a population of around 70,000 people and is the referral hospital for the region. These include general medicine, gastroenterology, mental health, kidney medicine, maternity, urology, orthopaedics and oncology and many other specialty areas.Practicing medicine in a rural city like this can offer unique and rewarding experiences. Rural communities often have strong social connections and doctors can make a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of their patients.Eligibility:1. Specialist Registration with AHPRA as a FRANZCOG
2. Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
3. IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
4.
