One of Australia’s largest electrical & communications contractors is looking to engage the services of a Project Supervisor – Substations.As our new HV Project Supervisor/ Leading hand based in Melbourne, you'll play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists working within a multi-disciplinary variety of projects in our Energy, Renewable & Industrial HV Infrastructure and getting exposure to varied and challenging projects locally in Melbourne and across Victoria.Your Role Will Include supporting the Project PMs with the Following
  • Execute project-specific plans.
  • Take full ownership of projects.
  • Control project programming, cost, time, quality, purchasing, contract administration, general site administration, and subcontractor activities.
  • Manage overall safety, quality, and environmental standards on projects.
  • Authorise construction planning, programming, network outage coordination and on-site completion schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and tackle issues head-on.
  • Keep a close eye on project costs and forecasts, ensuring they stay within budget.
About YouTo be successful in this position, you will possess:
  • Significant experience in Project Supervision/ leading Hand in a similar role within the High Voltage Industry.
  • Profound knowledge in procurement, construction, and commissioning of HV Projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including effective influencing, motivation, and delegation skills.
  • Ability to work well with others to deliver as a team.
  • Inquisitive nature and desire to grow your career.
Required Qualifications
  • A Grade licence
  • Construction Induction Cert.
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Recipient in charge and HV Operating ticket would be an advantage.
