
Senior Planner – Commissioning

- Develop and maintain master and detailed schedules to drive project execution and delivery.
- Create integrated commissioning schedules in collaboration with the client’s commissioning and operations teams.
- Perform cost and resource loading, critical path and milestone analysis, and schedule health checks.
- Run “What-if” scenarios to identify risks and planning opportunities.
- Produce supporting documentation including basis of schedules and earned value management reporting (CPI & SPI).
- Integrate contractor schedules into the master schedule and analyse contractor performance.
- Provide early trend analysis, productivity evaluations, and benchmarking insights.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting (weekly and monthly).
- Participate actively in schedule workshops, risk reviews, and change management processes.
- Support quarterly capital planning and liaise with stakeholders to ensure scope clarity and task readiness.
- 10 years’ experience as a Project Planner
- Demonstrated experience in commissioning planning
- Experience working client-side across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Office Suite, and Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative team environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Controls certification, OR relevant trade background.
- Solid understanding of safe workplace practices and strong awareness of duty of care.
- Work with a leading mining owner/operator on a major commissioning project.
- Long-term contract with potential for extension.
- Convenient Perth CBD location on a stable Monday to Friday roster.
