The impact you'll have:At the Workplace Injury Commission, we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. As a Victorian Government statutory authority, we're proud of the positive difference we're making for people and communities across the state.We're currently on the lookout for a People and Culture Coordinator to help us strengthen the employee experience and bring our culture, learning and development (L&D), diversity, and health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) initiatives to life.In this role you'll be a trusted partner, problem-solver, and connector. Drawing on your strengths in collaboration and relationship building to provide thoughtful advice and contributions to various processes, coordinate key programs, and support our leaders to create a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and engaged. By combining your analytical thinking, emotional intelligence, and communication skills, you'll help us deliver practical actions that make a real difference in the lives of our people.You'll work with supportive and high-performing People and Culture colleagues to deliver our strategy and implement continuous improvements.Who we're looking for:We're looking for someone who's curious, resourceful, collaborative, and outcome focused. Ideally, you'll bring:
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage, influence, collaborate and build relationships with people at all levels
  • An analytical, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to turn information into insight and then action
  • Knowledge of contemporary L&D and HSW practices, including injury management
  • Excellent organisational skills, including juggling multiple priorities, keeping on top of the details, and the ability to effectively manage up
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and the self-sufficiency to work autonomously
