- Support month-end close by preparing journals, accruals, reconciliations, and management reports
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate anomalies to ensure data accuracy
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, Capex reporting, and business case development
- Assist with budget tracking and processing of project invoices
- Identify and recommend improvements to reporting processes and data accuracy
- Support automation and dashboard development for performance tracking
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
- Assist in managing AACo's innovation project portfolio and committee contributions
- Bachelor of Commerce (or similar), majoring in accounting
- Commitment to undertake CA, CPA or similar post graduate qualification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional finance environment
- A demonstrated interest in rural Australian communities and lifestyles will be viewed favourably
- Hands-on experience across finance and operations, with exposure to real business challenges
