POSITIONWe have a full-time position available for a Farm Supervisor in Camp Creek, QLD 4871.SKILLSYou require at least a Certificate IV or higher qualification and at least 1-year relevant job experience.RESPONSIBILITIESYour role as the Farm Supervisor will be to supervise various cultivation measures across the banana plantation.DUTIESThe position will require the following duties:

Consultancy and planning with the Farm Managers to meet our objectiv
Supervising a wide range of farm operations such as de-budding, de-leafing, de-suckering, dieseling, harvesting and packing.
Ensuring deadlines are met for cultivation measures.
Communicating with managers to coordinate farm hands as to assigned tasks & priorities.
Monitoring hours, task performed and resolving any problem
Checking the work of Farm Hands and suggesting any improvements.
Training Farm Hands as to assigned task
Organising transportation of staff and produce on the f
Inspecting banana irrigation infrastructure, scheduling watering and sprinkler maintenance.
Inspecting farming equipment, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out and repairs are made when necessary.
Ensuring Farm Hands have appropriate tools and personal protective equipment for anticipated duti
Ensuring and enforcing compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards.
Ensuring farm biosecurity measures are maintained to stop possible infection and detection of Panama Tropical Race 4 (TR4).
