
Senior Financial Accountant

- Maintain high level of quality accounting and financial reporting and meet month end reporting deadlines set by senior management
- Ensures the integrity and accuracy of the financial reporting, general ledge journals, end-of-month reconciliations, and assistance with audit requirements
- Work closely with the LOB operations and management team to ensure transactions are recorded and reported correctly
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and encourage further automation of key reconciliations
- Assist in the refinement of business processes and strengthening of controls
- Participate in budget and forecasting process as well as full year audited financial statements
- Experience in relevant roles with a CA/CPA
- Degree qualification in accounting / commerce / finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (AASB/IFRS)
- Self-starter. Independent. Autonomous work style. Can prioritise competing deadlines well.
- Flexible and open to change and challenges to continue learning
- Strong business acumen, financial knowledge and skills
- Relevant Industry experience.
- Experience in an ERP environment (preferably Oracle R12/13) as well as using BI tools such as Oracle EPM, TM1, Cognos
