Lead Data EngineerPlay a pivotal role in leading the delivery of high-quality data engineering solutions for a large-scale transformation program. You’ll work on optimising BI environments, modernising data platforms with Microsoft Fabric, and integrating diverse data sources to drive impactful insights. This is a hands-on leadership role for a highly experienced data engineer who thrives in complex, business-critical environments.Location: ACTEssential Duties

Manage and optimise SSAS/SSIS/SSRS reporting environments
Lead the migration from on-premises to cloud-based data platforms using Microsoft Fabric
Design, develop, and optimise data integration processes for varied data formats
Produce clear documentation, process maps, and data models for technical and non-technical audiences

Key Criteria

7+ years’ experience in a similar role with strong SQL/T-SQL skills
Proven expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, or Data Factory
Experience integrating diverse data sources including REST APIs, JSON, and Parquet
Strong grasp of common data architectures including warehouses, lakes, and lakehouses
