- Support the annual strategy refresh process, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and market dynamics.
- Conduct environmental scans, competitor benchmarking, and internal performance reviews to inform strategic priorities.
- Support and collaborate with senior leaders to shape strategic direction and investment / divestment priorities.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and measurable outcomes.
- Partner with business units to ensure alignment between strategy and operational execution.
- Monitor progress against strategic initiatives and escalate risks or barriers to execution.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance scorecards to track progress against strategic and financial goals.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles with clear, data-driven commentary and recommendations.
- Lead or support the development of robust business cases for new initiatives, capital investments, and strategic projects.
- Ensure business cases include financial modelling, risk assessments, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
- Provide commercial insights and recommendations based on financial outcomes and market trends.
- Support pricing strategies, cost-benefit analysis, and margin improvement initiatives.
- Own and continuously improve the organisation’s investment evaluation framework, ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on investment governance, evaluation criteria, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure all investment proposals meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Degree in Finance or related field (CA/CPA desirable)
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial strategy, financial analysis, or consulting
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills with strong financial modelling capability
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex insights
- Experience in aged care, healthcare, or property investment sectors is a plus
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
