This role is with the Mental Health Assessment Team (MHAT) based at Royal Darwin Hospital. You'll provide crisis management support within the community and the Emergency Department as part of a 24/7 rotating roster. This is a dynamic role suited to experienced mental health nurses who thrive in acute and crisis settings.Requirements
- Mandatory:
- Mental Health Triage and Acute Mental Health Assessment skills (RN4.1 and above)
- Experience in crisis management in both ED and community contexts
- Ability to provide assessments, interventions, and case management using a recovery-based framework
- Strong skills in developing, implementing, and evaluating individual care plans with clients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team
- Desirable:
- Capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders to ensure high-quality holistic care for people experiencing mental illness
