We're looking for a Principal Corporate Strategy Business Partner to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our Integrated Planning Framework.In this pivotal role, you'll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and councillors, ensuring our corporate, operational and service planning practices are aligned, effective and future-focused.
  • Lead and evolve Council's Integrated Planning Framework.
  • Coordinate corporate and operational planning cycles.
  • Develop planning tools, templates and guidance materials.
  • Drive the Organisational Excellence Strategy.
  • Support long-term strategic and service planning initiatives.
  • Build planning capability across the organisation.
  • Ensure alignment with legislative requirements and community needs.
About youYou are a collaborative and forward-thinking professional with demonstrated experience in corporate, strategic, or operational planning (local government or public sector preferred). You bring a strong understanding of integrated planning frameworks and have a proven track record in leading strategic initiatives. Your ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels makes you a valued partner in shaping the future of our council.
  • Proven ability to lead planning initiatives and develop strategic, operational and service plans.
  • High-level advisory skills and experience partnering with senior leaders.
  • Expertise in developing and applying planning tools, templates and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report and presentation preparation.
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Experience in monitoring and reporting on plan implementation.
  • Knowledge of local government legislative and planning frameworks.
  • Qualifications in business, public administration, planning, policy or a related field (essential).
