Finance Manager - Immediate Start - Northern Beaches Location

An exciting immediate start role with an industry-leading organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Finance Manager role will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities. Initially this will be a 3 month contractual assignment, however there is the opportunity for this role to be extended and/or made permanent given the exciting growth trajectory of the business.The Responsibilities
- Management of the full accounting and month-end processes
- Business partner with key divisional teams on financial results
- Assist in annual statutory audit by preparing the necessary account reconciliations and liaising with the external auditor.
- Monthly overhead analysis and commentary
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team
- Ad-hoc project involvement as and when required
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, must enjoy being hands-on with the work and have worked in a large complex organisation previously.Additional Benefits
