Chef – Western Suburbs OnlyJoin our dedicated Hotel Services Team as a Chef and make a difference in the lives of our residents. We have both permanent full-time and casual positions available.Here’s What a Typical Day in the Role Might Look Like:
  • Lead the preparation and cooking of meals for residents, ensuring high-quality food is served.
  • Collaborate with the Chef Manager to plan menus catering to dietary requirements, preferences, and cultural needs.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including stock control, waste management, and food safety protocols.
  • Ensure meals are presented beautifully and in line with food safety standards.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed.

  • Culinary expertise with a passion for high-quality food.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
  • A commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within aged care or hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
