- Demonstrated experience of customer service skills and customer focus in a range of customer service environments, to include communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Previous knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of the principles of recycling and reuse and the assessment of second-hand goods.
- Experience in providing supervision and guidance to contractors and team members.
- Proficient experience in software such as Microsoft Office (Standard) software
- Demonstrated cash handling experience, including reconciliation, and balancing of cash registers.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake a range of physical duties.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Previous experience and a track record in a customer services work environment to include cash handling and communicating with customers.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the position.
- Backhoe certificate of competency highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with members of the public
- Demonstrated ability to use software packages of Microsoft and Waste Management systems
