- Supervising the delivery of high-quality patient care;
- Developing and implementing clinical standards of practice;
- Leading quality improvement initiatives within the medical ward;
- Providing evidence-based clinical nursing in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team;
- Acting in a leadership role to foster professional growth and best practices;
- Applying broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all aspects of patient care;
- Utilizing high-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills in clinical settings;
- Contributing to and participating in staff education through orientation programs, in-services, and clinical competency development;
- Supporting the Hospital's continuous improvement processes.
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum four (4) years in oncology or medical specialty as a Registered Nurse;
- Ability to work a rotating roster;
- Post-graduate qualification, undertaking the same or working towards;
- Excellent time management skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills to ensure excellence customer service is delivered.
