- Carry out personal risk assessment, hazard identification and other safety requirements relevant to the role
- Work to “Best Practice” techniques to ensure that equipment is maintained to a high safety, productive and reliable standard
- Ensure all statutory inspections and maintenance tooling/safety equipment is maintained and periodic calibrations/inspections are recorded
- Compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements

- Minimum of 3 years in underground coal mining
- Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas (EEHA) competencies
- HV switching competency (would be advantageous)
- Ability to work effectively in a team, coupled with strong communication skills
- Operation of underground equipment as required.
