THE OPPORTUNITYContinued business growth has created an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Metal Fabricator to join the operations team to help manufacture and assemble products for our trade and retail customer base.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working Day Shift from 6:00am - 2:06pm with overtime optional.Location: Forrestdale, WAAnnual Salary: $76,570 - $80,000 per annum based on relevant skills and qualificationsRESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacture goods to the customers’ requirements
Tasks include interpret technical product drawings, MIG fabricating using mild steel and silicone bronze.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Operate plant and mobile equipment, including overhead cranes.
Collaborate with team members, other departments and projects
Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

Essential - Fabricating experience of mild steel, galvanized products in both light and heavy gauges
Essential - At least 2 years relevant experience working in a production environment
Essential – AQF Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication)
Commitment to producing quality products
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong mechanical aptitude with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Sound awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts and people
Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
